If you’ve ever been to a live sports game you will have noticed the amount of colour to be found in our stands. Now I am not talking about race, clothing or those sorry folk who happen to drink bizarre flavours of Brutal Fruit but rather about the colourful characters that fill the seats of our South African sports stadia. We all knew Luis Suarez was a complete tosser who also happened to be a racist, a cheat and an oxygen thief right? What we did not perhaps know until this last weekend is that Suarez’ shiteness doesn’t stop there. He now can add the title of ‘thug’ to his shit list. This is the sods second assault that he has vetted out with that turd trap he calls his mouth. On radio this week @followthebounce @simplysean_ and I delved into all things sporting on our 9th episode of Blogz on Ballz. This week we interviewed a disgruntled Stormers fan club chairman, nominated our Sports Icon and Sportwilly of the week and then discussed the topic of ‘Is live sport dead?’.
